It is common to store meeting recordings across separate folders, chat attachments and local storage. When you need to revisit a discussion from two weeks ago, you may struggle to locate the right file, and sharing the correct recording with teammates usually requires multiple extra steps.

This friction arises because most recording tools store files by filename only. Traditional search relies on manual naming or keyword recall, which breaks down when you only remember the meeting date, not the exact title.

MeetingMinutes’ calendar view is a built-in navigation layer that arranges your saved meeting recordings and transcripts on a date grid. You access it from the calendar tab, then select a date to pull up all meeting records tied to that day. It helps you locate recordings by timeline instead of filenames. This feature only indexes recordings saved within MeetingMinutes; recordings stored outside the platform will not appear here. External calendar sync integration needs further verification.

Here is a typical workflow: You join three client meetings on Wednesday and record each one inside MeetingMinutes. Later, a teammate asks for the discussion from the second Wednesday session. Instead of scrolling through a long file list, you open the calendar view, pick Wednesday, open the target record, then share it via the supported sharing options.

This calendar navigation fits regular contributors with frequent recurring meetings who often retrieve records by date. If you need cross-platform calendar event sync or advanced semantic search across transcripts, these are separate requirements not covered by this view.

This function works alongside MeetingMinutes’ native file management, cross-device sync and sharing capabilities. All records you view on the calendar are the same files accessible on the web version and synced across your devices, and can be exported or shared using supported methods.
